This policy explains how TechGaon AI Services ("TechGaon", "we") collects and uses information when you use our website techgaon.in and our app FoodGaon (FOODगाँव).

1. Information we collect

Account details: your name and mobile number; your email address if you sign in with Google.
Order details: delivery address, the location you pick on the map, items ordered, kitchen notes, payment method and order status.
Reviews and favourites: ratings, reviews and dishes you save.
Restaurant partners: shop name, address, FSSAI and GST numbers, UPI ID, menu and photos.
Delivery partners: name, mobile number, photo, vehicle details, UPI ID, and live location only while they are marked online.
Device information: basic technical data needed to run the app and send order notifications.

2. How we use it

To place, prepare, deliver and track your orders.
To show you your bills, order history and statements.
To calculate GST and settlements between restaurants and TechGaon, as required by law.
To provide support and keep the service safe.

3. Who we share it with

The restaurant you order from and its delivery person receive your name, phone number, address and order.
Our service providers: Google Firebase (login, database, hosting) and Google's AI services (used to read menu photos uploaded by restaurants).
Government authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Payments

You pay the restaurant directly through your own UPI app or in cash. TechGaon does not collect or store your card, bank or UPI PIN details.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account while it is active. Invoices and tax records are kept for as long as Indian GST law requires, even after an account is deleted.

6. Your choices

You can update your name in the app, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time. See Delete your account.

7. Children

FoodGaon is meant for users aged 18 and above, or for younger users with a parent or guardian.

1. About the service

FoodGaon is an online platform run by TechGaon AI Services that connects customers with local restaurants. The restaurant prepares, packs and delivers the food. TechGaon acts as the e-commerce operator.

2. Your account

You log in with your mobile number or Google account. Keep access to your phone and account safe. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.

3. Prices and GST

Menu prices include GST. Delivery is free unless the app shows otherwise before you order. Under section 9(5) of the CGST Act, TechGaon pays the GST on restaurant services ordered through FoodGaon.

4. Orders and cancellation

You can cancel an order only before the restaurant accepts it.
A restaurant may reject an order, for example if an item is sold out or you are outside its delivery area.
Delivery times shown are estimates.

5. Payments

You pay the restaurant directly by UPI or cash on delivery. Any refund is made by the restaurant, as explained in our Refund Policy.

6. Restaurants

Restaurants are responsible for the quality, hygiene, quantity and labelling of their food and for holding valid FSSAI and GST registrations. FoodGaon lists only vegetarian food.

7. Fair use

Do not misuse the app, place fake orders, abuse delivery staff, or post false or offensive reviews. We may suspend accounts that do.

8. Liability

We work to keep FoodGaon running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, TechGaon's liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved with a phone call.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancelling an order

You can cancel from the app until the restaurant accepts the order. After that, the food is being prepared and the order cannot be cancelled from the app.

2. When you get a refund

If you paid by UPI in advance and:

you cancelled before the restaurant accepted, or
the restaurant rejected or could not deliver the order,

the restaurant will return the full amount to the same UPI account within 7 working days.

3. Wrong, missing or damaged items

Tell us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo, through WhatsApp or email. After checking with the restaurant, you will get a replacement or a refund for the affected items.

4. Cash orders

Cash is paid only on delivery, so a cancelled cash order needs no refund.

5. Who pays the refund

Your payment goes straight to the restaurant, so the restaurant makes the refund. TechGaon follows up with the restaurant until the matter is settled.

What we must keep
